Having us test for you

For Homes and small buildings we us a continous radon monitor. We will come to the property and setup the radon monitor. It has to sit in the lowest habital area of the building for at least 48 (time may vary by state). The monitors typically have radon sensors and other sensors that monitor levels hours. Some of the other sensors on the monitor may include: Motion sensors, temperture and humidity sensors, berometer sensors, indoor air quality sensors. After the required minimum time has passed a qualified technician will retrieve the monitor. Some of our monitor will then have the data uploaded to a qualified lab to review the results and send them back to us. This usually takes about 1 hour. Other monitors can be connected to a computer and the results printed immediately. The technician will determine the type and number of monitors needed to test the building for radon. The report generated will have hourly radon levels list as well at the EPA average. The report will also list any other perameters that were monitored during the test. A recommendation will be given based upon the radon test results. Prices depend upon location of the property and number of monitors needed to complete the job. Doit yourself tests

We sell Doit yourself short and long term radon test kits.

Short term test kit we sell are a 3-7 day radon test kit. It includes postage to your home (within the lower 48 USA only) and return postage to the lab. It Includes all lab fees and a report will be mailed back to the address filled out on the kit. Instructions are also included in the test kit.

It is highly recommended that in a real estate transaction you contact us to perform a radon test. Our devices can detect if the monitor was tampered with during the test and  if certain protocals where not followed during testing. It also allows  someone outside the real estate transaction to complete the job. We use some of the most trusted radon testing equipment in the the area.
